New game – STARSEEKERZ

Yes, it’s a game. And it’s new. And it’s made by me.

You can stop pinching yourselves now – you are awake. STARSEEKERZ is a Choose Your Own Adventure-style text adventure game. It’s quite short, as I think trying to simulate every episode of the show would be terribly tedious. But it’s an attempt at satirising the ridiculous nature of TV talent shows, specifically The X Factor.

Also, count this as a Beta. It’s up and running and can totally stand alone, but if anyone’s got any ideas for an expanded game let me know! In the zip is the .gam file you can use with a TADS interpreter (if you want to be technical and all, but also vital if you’re a Mac user – get one from the IF Archive) and a standalone windows executable file, so if you’re a Windows user just click that to play!
